belief, a reminant of a misguided a priori objectivist philosophy that is now DEAD?
Is belief valid anymore? I mean really we can have hypotheses, but isn't belief dead as a structure of understanding anything. I mean I suppose people can have a belief in God but what is that based on. I might ask what is there to believe. I mean I can believe anything I want and none of it has to be true to any extent. I always am fascinated by this, concept and I throw religious believers under the same bus and atheists, what is there to believe?....Invariably atheists replace the word God with the word God. They perceive that they hold a different view but they don't That word is independent of our beliefs, it is a metaphorical that means something as an experiential expression. Sort of like love. Now that experience can be translated in any number of ways but that is the nature of these experiences and to that there is still no clear understanding of the nature of that and exactly how all of that works to this day. But we do know a bit and metaphors are the basis in how we express those experiences.

Love is a something and I think that is a magic
that requires no such thing as belief.

When we step through the veil, we'll see the Truth, (as well as the Way and the Life). God is self existant outside of our whims or beliefs. We don't get to hold Him to account, but He will us.

- Well jeff you and I might disagree a bit on exactly how stuff structures out but I do know this we ain't the center of all knowledge nor is everything reducible and I think at the very least the faith community sometimes get's that very right.
