Hilarious article. I was actually thinking about posting this myself.
Also, Astrologer, I don't remember asking Doug if he had faith in Allah, you might be thinking of someone else there.
For the record I am as 'for' faith as I am for belief...not much; unless one is aware enough to understand that they are putting their logic on the backburner. For instance, I engage the idea that the octopus is my power animal. I don't have any ...
I don't think science as a whole is a crock. I think the human mind and its ability to do "science" is even more evidence of our "Special Creation" by God. (Don't bother with the counter, I know you don't agree) I do thing there is another aspect...
Faith, it works till it doesn't.
Yet someday your chair will buckle, and even fell weather can dislodge the man, whom everyone thought was invincible. And where Faith once prevailed, splintered wood and dead men will lie.

Source Code Flowchart Prototype Example

Jeff, regarding those links James posted. James, for some reason or another, thought it would be a great way to call me out regarding the validity of science to ask me "Well what are YOUR sources?"...

Source Code Flowchart Prototype Example

I sent an email to LucidChart.com relating our project to them and asking how we might be able to undergo such a large project. Perhaps I'll hear back from them today.

Source Code Flowchart Prototype Example

Jeff this is a pretty top notch way to go. The role of the Arbitors in this case, would simply be to keep an eye out for well crafted flowcharts and to graft them to the big "one" flowchart. Does t...

Public Science as a Conspiracy Theory or Enchanted Sham

History can play a role in supporting a proposition, but (re)writing history as a focus for a Source Code proposal doesn't really match up with the point of the document.

Public Science as a Conspiracy Theory or Enchanted Sham

However, to be fair, there are indeed some aspects of science that are false, or dogmatic. I wouldn't believe it if someone told me otherwise. However it is the nature, aim, and rewarded duty of sc...

The photos with the option to comment really helped me get my feet wet. The waters are just fine. I was able to swim with ease. Thanks honey.

I am a bit overwhelmed by this site but love it. I get lost easily and don't have the caliber of expression that would be helpful with the scholars that post. I am hoping to chillax and enjoy the ride.I am sending you my love and best intentions.

Well, last year I said that when I had the time, I would post my idea I had about UFO's on your webpage, and I finally have the time. I didn't forget, I've just been busy. I have a little more than a week off from school, so I'll be visiting here more often with that time to see what RDG is all about.

Where should I write my thingy at Sid? Help me out here.

I appreciate the astute observations and learned discussions. I really needed a more intellectual site for exploration of spirituality. Thank you for connecting me with these sites. Hope to see you at Brushwood in July.

Well unless you are a monk than i suppose that truly, very little to nothing would be necessary, but some things are necessary for the rest of us. I meant that perhaps believing in "something" is necessary in the same way that a human needs touch from other people to develop properly.

Good book to check out which goes deeper into what i mean: The View From the Center of the Universe: Discovering Our Extraordinary Place in the Cosmos by Joel R. Primack and Nancy Ellen Abrams

Yeah, I have "Puerto Rico", and though it is highly rated, it's rather long and exhausting -- I have a dozen other games like it, though -- my favorite right now being "Power Grid".

John, you're the one that call me a nationalist zealot, so don't toss me your "just chill" bone and walk away slowly, whistiling, hands in pockets as if you did nothing. It's easy to recognize the look. Often when I see it on my kids, the toilet w...

Well argued James, although it probably won't be understood? If evolution is survival of the fittest, or best suited, why have humans turned out as second fiddle to a harrier?
