2012

There is a movie called 2012 coming out and its about what it will be like and how it will happen. I don't remeber the trailor very well but I think that one random day the world opened up and it was…

I think a big issue is the taboo nature of abortion. Many women feel a myriad of emotions when deciding upon and having an abortion, but it is considered inappropriate to discuss any of these feelings....its easier to sweep something under the rug t…

I think that part of the issue Cally and Laili, is not necessarily that there is not enough support out there, but that what is out there is not very well known, and so it doesn't get taken advantage of. There are tons of support groups out there fo…

Cally, I totally agree with you, and I really respect how you wrote your blog. I think its important to keep our minds open to other peoples experiences and situations, and that there is not just one answer to everything.

Cally, I think that there should be more support groups, and more support for women that are going through this. It is very taboo in our society for a young girl to get pregnant, and I think if it was more accepted then we wouldnt have so many terri…

I like how you said you may not agree but can still show compassion, I think that is a big step for someone to do and needs to be done more often by many people.

James I agree with you. I think that they are not actually in conflict with each other, but people like to look at them in conflict so they can agree and have power over one or the other. They actually work quite nice with eachother, and its a shame…

Cally, I agree with you that society has become so advanced that we are blind to our intuition sometimes. Sometimes we refuse to accept what our "gut" is telling us because it just doesn't "jive" with what we think we know. Does that make sense? LO…

Cally, I do not know that human consciousness is always directed toward something - some human beings are born with a mental disability or sustain an injury that causes a lack or loss of what is considered conscious or purposeful thought. Are these…

I also believe that technology is robbing us of our intellect. My son learned to do math in his head and can still beat the cash register at figuring change. My daughter whips out her cell phone and can access the calculator faster than I can think…

This topic I believe should be more talked about since it’s happening on a daily basis, every where. The only time it gets really any attention is when a new law comes out and needs to be voted on or something. Over the past years abortion has created more attention through movies, television shows, and songs. It’s funny how it’s so avoided but really it’s around us all in society

This section on Religion and Human origins relates to Open Source because a person can have their own personal beliefs which may or may not be the same as another’s. Beliefs and opinions are personal and should never be criticized just like a person’s belief of pro-choice or pro-life. Also, all though one may have different opinions they can still communicate effectively and come to agreements with another of different views, just like Open Source.

Abortion is a touchy subject and very personal, something that is never mentioned but probably should be. Everyone has their own reason for their beliefs about it; sometimes it can be religious view or personal experience. I do think that there are appropriate situations for abortions; I would never want to take that choice away from them. I have seen families where that choice might have actually been better. I also now that the people I have encountered are traumatized for life because of it,… Continue

Intellect and Intuition is used daily by everyone, sometime they don’t always help though. Society has become advanced with sometimes bettering our knowledge. Science has also become more advanced in lives and summiting proofs to different views of creation. These things are all personal, with how much intellect one has, the intuition one gets, and the view one takes on creation.

Given these "problems" with the Bible, if the God of the Bible is the God of reality (as I believe He is), I do not wonder at all about His reasons for bringing forth the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is the anchor of my faith in Jesus Christ.…
